A.S.I. Club Pilsen

The Association of Mechanical Engineers (ASI) is a voluntary professional association based on the high level of expertise and personal qualities of its members, especially mechanical engineers. Its history dates back to 1991, when it was founded in Prague. At its inception, there were distinguished specialists from the engineering faculties of the universities and the races who wanted to build on the famous Czechoslovak traditions Association of Engineers and Architects – SIA.

The activity of the Association is based on the activities of individual clubs created at universities, research and design institutions and production plants with their own legal personality:

Regional Branch in Prag – Faculty of Engineering, CTU Prague,
Regional Branch in Brno – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology,
ESIS Branch Brno – Institute of Physics of Materials Czech Academy on Science,
Regional Branch in Pilsen – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering , University of West Bohemia, Škoda Power Pilsen,
Regional Branch in Pardubice and Česká Třebová – Faculty of Transport of the University of Pardubice,
Regional Branch in Most – VÚHU Most.

Until now, the association has been striving to support the development of mechanical engineering and engineering, to promote the exchange of experience in the field and to strengthen the position of mechanical engineers in society.
